Budget committee backs benefit cutbacks for public workers | Defend Wisconsin

The budget committee voted Tuesday to cut benefits for part-time government workers and require full-time workers to work longer before they qualify for pensions. It also voted to end a college grant program and to freeze enrollment for the Family Care program, which provides health care for the elderly and disabled.
