House GOP Take Aim At Elizabeth Warren
House GOP Take Aim At Elizabeth Warren
"House Republicans may be afraid of Elizabeth Warren, but Elizabeth Warren is not afraid of them. That's a good thing because her agency and its oversight authority is at the top of the list of transparency and regulatory moves by the Obama administration the right hopes to undo.
In her first official appearance as a member of the Obama administration, Warren made it clear that she was not about to be bullied by folks like Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala) who has gone out of his way to characterize Warren as an "unaccountable" head of a rouge agency."

Kapanke given toughest odds in recall election - JSOnline
Kapanke given toughest odds in recall election - JSOnline
"Dan Kapanke, a Republican from La Crosse with a strong Democratic tinge to his district, may be the state senator most vulnerable to being removed in a recall election, according to academics and other political observers.
Two other names these people most frequently mentioned as vulnerable: Sen. Randy Hopper (R-Fond du Lac) and Democrat Jim Holperin of Conover.
When it came to Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills), the experts said prospects were less easy to predict.
The four senators are among 16 - eight Republicans and eight Democrats - against whom recall petitions are circulating as a result of the battle raging for the last month over the state budget.
University of Wisconsin-Madison political scientist Charles Franklin called Kapanke "the only one of those (Republicans) who looks like they're situated in a Democratic-leaning district.""

03/21/11 Poated in Stand Up, Michigan
Janet Shoemaker, of Howell, MI, provides a great summary of why what's happening in Michigan (and many other states as well) is NOT 'shared sacrifice'; Rick Snyder's laws are illogical and unfair, and benefit no one but corporations and CEO's that already have more than their share - and more than anyone needs.
