As I write that, I will order and send you the DVD after the holiday.
I think it is one of the most important films ever made; it was nominated for the academy award and aired on HBO many times.
It shows the famous Harri Hursti hacks that Black Box Voting organized and produced of electronic voting machines

There is a battle in Wisconsin that we all need to help win. That's why Blue America has a new Wisconsin Recall page and why we've invited state Senator Chris Larson and Senate candidate Sandy Pasch onto Crooks and Liars for a live chat this Monday (2pm, ...CT). As you probably remember, earlier this year the extreme Republican Governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, pushed through a radical attack on basic labor rights. His plan to strip workers of the right to bargain collectively for protections against unfair treatment and unsafe worker conditions was one of the greatest assaults on working families in the last half century. Now he's pushing a radical, destructive agenda that guts priorities like education, health care and help for seniors while giving hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks to huge corporations. These elections matter far beyond the borders of Wisconsin. The Walker agenda is being duplicated in state after state by the extreme Republicans who swept into power in last November’s elections. Thank you for writing this. I’m on the #wiunion team, although I’m not one who has been claiming that Kathy Nickolaus committed fraud. Still, I was very disappointed by this interview. The Freeman asked lightweight questions. For as much prominence as this article had, why was she asked about her feelings more than about her actions?
I am willing to consider that she simply made one mistake after another. I’m not even so concerned about whether we get an apology. However, I certainly would’ve appreciate some acknowledgement of why so many people were upset at all. She seems to have no idea of how her actions (and inactions) caused so many to feel disheartened and distrustful of election processes. She’s oblivious. Yet she also is probably right. With several elections between now and 2012, there will be plenty of people in this county who give her a pass and re-elect her. Waukesha County will be a laughing-stock in front of the rest of the state.
And although I am a Christian, I don’t see how an interview about a professional mistake is the right place to focus so much on one’s faith. Then again, since it seems to have been an interview about her feelings and coping with the whole thing, maybe it was appropriate after all. Too bad the Freeman didn’t do a real interview focusing on an incident that brought our county to national attention.
