"There are so many reasons I protest what Wall Street has come to represent." Alex Huppenthal | Occupy Wall St.

Occupy Wall St.

"There are so many reasons I protest what Wall Street has come to represent. I'm here representing me, I want wall street to understand my main street sees what you do, and I want change.
I'm divesting in companies that bribe congress, I'm divesting in businesses that operate outside of the interests of America. I'm voting with my wallet.
I'm here because many of my friends have been out of work for years.
I'm here because 10 million dollar bonuses are unjust when millions are unemployed.
I'm here because paying lower taxes for playing wall street roulette is wrong.
I'm here because an obstructionist congress is destabilizing America.
I'm here because I am united with wage earners everywhere that want a fair, just economy. Where wages in a company don't vary 10,000:1.
I'm here because Congress must stop killing jobs. Because Investors need to know it's innovation that I want, not litigation. I don't want a 50 year extention to copyrights. One lifetime is long enough."
