We’ve seen how radical these Republicans are – they nearly shut down the federal government trying to gut women’s health care and defund the EPA. The GOP budget is an affront to working men and women and an attempt to unravel our nation’s safety net strand by strand. Stand Against the GOP’s Extreme Budget
The 2012 Republican budget is shocking. Thanks to its giveaways to the wealthy, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that our debt will actually INCREASE under this plan. The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank said: “Ryan’s proposal isn’t a budget. It’s a manifesto for the anti-tax cause.” So much for fiscal responsibility! It’s simply immoral to take crucial health care away from seniors and the most vulnerable among us and use the proceeds to pad corporate pockets – and score political points.
