On Saturday May 7, 2011, US Uncut-Michigan joined forces with MoveOn, RecallRickSnyder, local unions, the UAW, and University of Michigan student activist groups to protest the Emergency Financial Manager bill, as well as tax breaks to the wealthy corporation, Whirlpool. I am just a citizen who is trying to get the word out and give the people of Michigan a chance to let their voices be heard. The rallies, protests, meetings, etc that I list I am not personally organizing. I am merely spreading the word about opportunities to let your voice be heard.

Figured there needed to be a central place for people to connect with others and find out information about the various rallies being organized at the State Capitol and around Michigan.Also have noticed people looking for rides to Lansing. So this will be a place to post information. Feel free to post to the wall and/or the discussion section of the page. If you know of any upcoming rallies, meetings and protests please post it on the wall.

I also need all the help I can get. This is a grass roots movement by the people of Michigan. We all must do what we can to make a difference! So feel free to post any of my event pages, rally listings, etc on any appropriate websites, facebook pages, and tell everyone you know!
