Chaos erupted at Thursday night’s budget committee meeting as lawmakers tried to start debate on funding cuts to cities and counties, money for “choice schools” and recycling programs.

  • Chants of "Whose house? Our house!" and "Shame!" filled the Capitol last night as lawmakers started debate on Walker and the GOP's proposal to cut aid to local governments that will make it harder for communities to pay for the services that middle class families rely on.

      • Carol Tilly Metzger We "WI" voted the way we did because we were lied to by these politicos working for their corporate masters. I have only seen laws enacted that harm "We WI" - where are the jobs? How is that trickle down of giving the rich tax breaks helping us? Answer me Troy and Don.
