Walkerville Tent City Kickoff
Join us as we inaugurate Walkerville, a tent city on the Capitol Square!
The state's Joint Finance Committee will attempt to pass a budget on to both houses of the legislature on Saturday night. We're taking to the streets to fight back.
As we gather to protest against the Walker budget, people from a broad array of backgrounds will come together on Saturday evening to set up our tents and to speak out. We will host an open mic at which everyone can declare why they are joining in the protest at Walkerville.
Each day of Walkerville will focus upon a particular theme. This first night is for all of us to come together to demonstrate our unity, declare our outrage, and to build our community.
Politicians: We are watching you and we will hold you accountable.
