Walker signs photo ID measure; legal challenge possible | Defend Wisconsin

Gov. Scott Walker signed the voter suppression bill today, but the law costing more than $7 million in new spending and lost revenue could still face a legal challenge.

“We continue to confer with legal counsel about what potential legal challenges can be made against Gov. Walker’s voter suppression bill,” Scot Ross, executive director of the liberal group One Wisconsin Now, said in a statement Wednesday.
