Art Exhibition | Allegories of Good and Bad Government

ALLEGORIES OF GOOD AND BAD GOVERNMENT

23.04 - 29.05.2011

In the context of the exhibition Allegories of Good and Bad Government artists and politicians live together from May 1 to 4 to participate day and night in an intensive debate concerning the deeply rooted connections between their practices. Their aim: to come to an understanding and break through the status-quo that defines the current relationship between art and politics.
From April 23 through May 29 the exhibition is opened daily from 12 PM until 6 PM. Between May 1 and 4 the space where the debate takes place is not accessible to the public, but the debate can be followed in written form on a screen in the exhibition space. From 8:30 PM to 11 PM all spaces are open and visitors are welcome to speak with the participants. The conversation can also be followed through this web site.
Free admission.
