New Benton Harbor City Commissioner is just 23 years old

The Benton Harbor City Commission is getting a little more youthful.

Tuesday night, Trenton Bowens was elected as the second ward City Commissioner.

An impressive task, considering he's just 23 years old.

Already, he shows a lot of determination and a passion to improve his city.

"I worked day and night on this campaign, and it paid off," Bowen said. "My goal is to get Benton Harbor back on track. We need to promote job growth, promote good resident skills, and we need to hold people accountable."
