Friends ask why I support the Occupy Movement, usually noting that I have a reasonably comfortable life and insisting that the protestors either don't want to take responsibility for their own lives, regret the fact that they missed the '60s, or are hygiene-challenged communists / socialists / anarchists. The truth is we are all average citizens who represent the variety of America.
WE ARE THE 99%.... If you make less than $5 million per year, SO ARE YOU.
Because I think that all Americans have not just the right but the obligation to speak up and demand changes when our society ceases to be free and fair to everyone, I am part of the Occupy Movement. Critics complain that we don't have a list of demands. Here are mine:
